Responsible for the design and implementation of liturgical celebrations that enable us to express our praise and thanks to God. The committee also sets liturgical policy in conjunction with the pastoral leader. The committee is assisted by liturgical ministers serving in a variety of areas.
Sunday Eucharist The Sunday Eucharist is when we as a community of believers celebrate the central core of our faith. As such it is the most important of our celebrations. Our community's goal is for the fullest and most active participation of our entire community.
Our Weekend Liturgy schedule is as follows:
Saturday.........................................5:30 p.m.....Worship Space
Sunday........9:00 a.m.,10:45 a.m., 12:15 p.m.....Worship Space
Our Weekday Liturgy schedule is as follows:
Monday through Friday (Communion Service).....8:45 a.m....Chapel
Holy Days are special feasts in the liturgical calendar. They are usually celebrated with two liturgies, one at 8:45 a.m. and one in the evening of the holy day. The exceptions are three holy days when they fall on Saturday or Monday; there is no obligation on these days (The Solemenity of Mary [Jan 1], The Feast of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary [Aug 15] and All Saints [Nov 1]). The other holy days celebrated in the United States are the Feast of the Ascension (generally in May), the Feast of the Immaculate Conception (Dec 8), and Christmas (Dec. 25). Please consult the parish bulletin for holy day schedules.
Reconciliation As a parish community we celebrate communal reconciliation at least twice a year, during Advent and Lent. The individual rite of reconciliation is available on Saturdays from 4:30 - 5:00 p.m. in the chapel or at any time by appointment.
Anointing of the Sick This sacrament may be celebrated by anyone who is seriously ill. Individuals are encouraged not to wait until death is imminent before requesting this sacrament. Anointing may take place more than once in an individual's lifetime.
Prayer Groups
- Home Prayers
We are people who wish to pray at home for the ill members of the parish whose names are listed in the bulletin and for those included in the Prayers of the Faithful.
