Ecumenical Christian organization builds or renovates houses in partnership with needy low-income families in Anne Arundel County. Sold with no profit and zero interest mortgage.
P. Francis Murphy Justice and Peace Initiative - $833.68 - September 2003
The P. Francis Murphy Justice and Peace Initiative (PFMjpi) is envisioned as a common voice of member religious communities to work collaboratively for social justice and to support and supplement the ongoing justice and peace work within each community.
Interfaith Housing of Western Maryland - $833.68 - September 2003
An organization of caring faith communities in the five counties of Western Maryland, whose objectives are to develop affordable housing for low- and moderate-income persons, create jobs and strengthen the region's economy.
Opportunity Builders Inc. - $790.73 - October 2003
A non-profit organization providing training and services to adults with developmental disabilities living in Anne Arundel County and adjacent communities. The training is to help the adults function and pay their way in the community.

The Joseph Richey Hospice - $1,896.78 - November 2003
Provides 12 bed residential round the clock professional nursing, psychosocial, and spiritual care as well as home care for terminally ill cancer and AIDS patients in the Baltimore area.

St. Frances Academy - $973.10 - February 2004
The country's' oldest African-American Catholic high school run by the Oblate Sisters of Providence, located in Baltimore City. 95% of graduates go on to college and students tutor public school students in the neighborhood, and provide services for senior citizens.
St. Ignatius Loyola - $973.09 - February 2004
A high school celebrating its tenth anniversary in educating boys from the most challenged neighborhoods in Baltimore City, giving them the opportunity to become "Men for Others" in the Jesuit tradition and giving them an education that could change their lives.

Provides life saving nutrition and counseling to those in Maryland who are homebound and living with HIV/AIDS.
Redemptorist AIDS Ministry - Thailand - $988.62 - March 2004
Several projects to help women and children affected by HIV and AIDS. A home for healthy children whose parents have either abandoned them or had died from AIDS. A hospice program providing a safe and caring for children dying of AIDS. A training center for women affected by

Provides food, shelter, emergency relief/medical, educational, and resettlement services for refugees in Africa, Asia, and Central America who flee persecution, terror, famine, and war.
Mary's Pence - $1,774.66 - May 2004
The mission is to recognize and support the work of Catholic women, both lay and religious, who minister to the economically poor throughout the Americas and who are without access to traditional sources of funding from government, church, or foundation sources.
