Ecumenical Christian organization builds or renovates houses in partnership with needy low-income families in Anne Arundel County. Sold with no profit and zero interest mortgage.
Catholic Charities - USA - $10,430.87 - September 2005
Responded to those affected by Hurricane Katrina by providing food, shelter and medical support to the thousands who were made homeless by the storm.
The ARC of Anne Arundel County - $761.91 - October 2005
Serves over 450 people with mental retardation. Supported living, residential services, family services, respite, advocacy and volunteer opportunities.
Opportunity Builders Inc. - $767.90 - October 2005
A non-profit organization providing training and services to adults with developmental disabilities living in Anne Arundel County and adjacent communities. The training is to help the adults function and pay their way in the community.
Bello Machre, Inc. - $767.90 - October 2005
Is a non-profit organization which provides loving care and creates opportunities for children and adults with development disabilities to live and work as independently as possible.
Marian House - $998.75 - November 2005
A residential counseling and employment program for homeless women, providing personal and employment counseling to over 350 women and their families each year.
House of Mercy - $998.75 - November 2005
A non-profit, independent family support center that responds to the identified needs of families, especially their children in the Poppleton/Hollins Community in Southwest Baltimore.
Diocese of Mandeville, Jamaica - $2,526.34 - December 2005
An organization of caring faith communities in the five counties of Western Maryland, whose objectives are to develop affordable housing for low- and moderate-income persons, create jobs and strengthen the region's economy.
Redemptorist AIDS Ministry - Thailand - $687.12 - January 2006
Several projects to help women and children affected by HIV and AIDS. A home for healthy children whose parents have either abandoned them or had died from AIDS. A hospice program providing a safe and caring for children dying of AIDS. A training center for women affected by HIV or AIDS providing job training and where they can receive proper nutrition and medications.
Mercy Ships - $1,013.95 – January 2006
Christian charity deploys hospital ships and volunteer staff. Provides free surgeries for children and adults. Runs clinics for medical, dental, optical, prosthetics. Provides health education, literacy and sanitation programs. Provides resources to dig wells for fresh water.
Diocese of Marthandam, India - $687.13 - January 2006
This mission diocese founded in 1997, is in the southern part of India and is very economically and educationally deprived. Funds will help provide support for 52 seminarians, help support orphanages and homes for the aged, plus help with building schools.
Franciscan Center - $1,071.98 - February, 2006
Emergency and supportive outreach agency serving persons who are poor and homeless. Services include hot lunches, grocery distribution, counseling and financial assistance.
YWCA of Annapolis and Anne Arundel County Domestic Violence Program - $1,071.97 - February 2006
Offers a wide variety of services to women in abusive situations, sush as professional counseling, emergency shelter and legal services.
Project PLASE - $741.75 - March 2006
Project PLASE (People Lacking Ample Shelter and Employment) began in 1973 to address and remedy the absence of services and resources available to Baltimore's most needy citizens.

Camp St. Vincent - $150.00
Is a free summer day camp that hosts 625 children from low-income families each summer. Children age 6 to 10 are given the opportunity to share in a rare experience for urban area youth- the joys of two weeks at summer camp in the open space and fresh air of the countryside. The camp offers a structured outdoor recreation program that includes swimming instruction, arts and crafts, singing, drama, reading, games, sports, hiking, and other traditional camping activities. The children also participate in daily Values Development Lessons, which strive to boost self-esteem, teach the children to resist negative peer pressure.

Is a multi-purpose, non-profit community organization involved in advocacy, education, and organizing, with special dedication to the poor. Provides after school program, youth enrichment and summer camp program from children ages 6-12. Provides leadership workshops and public health projects for teens.
O'Dwyer Retreat Center - $100.00
The Msgr. O'Dwyer Retreat House is a center of spiritual growth and hope which accepts and validates young people as true children of God who are exploring their faith, deepening their respect for others, discovering their values and self-worth and searching for the healing presence of God.
Parish Twinning Program - $200.00
An organization that links parishes in the U.S. with those in Haiti. Facilitates communications between the parishes and coordinates the shipments of cargo containers of supplies.
Partners in Care - $150.00
Partners in Care is a service credit exchange program designed to create community by linking frail elderly and disabled adults with neighbors who volunteer their time to help with occasional tasks and errands. The goal of these services is to help seniors and disabled adults remain independent in their own homes.
