As of July 1, 2021, all clergy listed on the Christ the King Staff Page are also assigned to St. Bernadette Parish, and both staffs are working together collaboratively to better serve the combined communities.
Fr. Austin Murphy became Pastor of St. Bernadette Parish on July 1, 2021, while remaining Pastor of Christ the King Parish in Glen Burnie.
Deacon Dan Miller is the Pastoral Associate and a member of the ministry team and is responsible for multiple areas of parish life such as serving as staff representative to the Liturgy committee, providing support and care for the sick and dying, provides funeral support, serving as a contact staff person for the ALLIES and Divorce ministry, and more. Dan is also responsible for sacramental preparation for children, with 1st Reconciliation and Eucharist, and adults through RCIA.
Dan is a graduate of Loyola University of Maryland, where he earned his bachelor's degree in Theology, with a minor in Catholic studies. Along with his undergraduate studies, Dan recently earned Master degrees in Theology and Church Ministry from St. Mary's Seminary. Dan and his wife Maggie are parents of three beautiful daughters. On May 22nd, 2021, Dan Miller was ordained to the Permanent Diaconate for the Archdiocese of Baltimore. He was assigned by Archbishop Lori to serve as a deacon for the parishioners of Christ the King and St. Bernadette parishes.

Rena Black is the Director of Youth Ministry for the pastorate of St. Bernadette and Christ the King Parishes. She works with youth in grades 6 through 12 and their families, as well those who serve with them. Her responsibilities include implementation and supervision of middle and high school youth ministry & discipleship formation, teen Confirmation preparation, and working with teen peer ministers and adult youth ministry leaders to plan service, spiritual, and social experiences for youth.
Rena also currently serves as the St. Bernadette Parish's screening coordinator for the Virtus program, and has become the point-person for training the livestreaming "Stream Team." She has a Bachelor of Arts in Theology and English from Mount St. Mary’s in Emmitsburg, where she also earned a minor in philosophy, and she received her Master of Arts in Theology from Villanova University in 2010. Rena married her husband, Adam, at St. Bernadette in 2015. They have two young sons, Theodore and Gabriel, both baptized at St. Bernadette Parish.

Geoff Rohrbach is the Director of Music Ministry. Geoff is part of the liturgical team. He is responsible for all aspects of the music ministry including music selection, training music volunteers, directing the parish choirs, and staffing of all liturgies.
When Geoff is not serving in our music ministry, he is spending time with his wife, Kemoy, and two children, Asher and Robyn.
